Insta Outfit: Seeing Stars

FAT Overview!

OOOOK, so its been a crazy crazy week. It feels like everybody has come out of hiding and it's time to rock and roll! I mean the weather is still awful (c'mon Toronto show me some sun) but at least its a bit warmer.

Last week I got to see all the collections at FAT 2014. I lucked out with an awesome seat and even made a friend! (shout out Lina from Love Between the Racks) Here are some highlights from Tuesday night's show!

Simone's Rose

Jepri Studio

I think the focus on the artistic side of fashion was great. It's always refreshing to see what each designers' unfiltered creative vision is. I loved my first time at FAT and I'm totally looking forward to next year.

Co-Co-Co-Coachella!

Well since weekend one of Coachella wrapped up this past Sunday, I've scoured the internet for some of my favourite looks. I would have totally loved to be there...jamming to the sounds of Lana Del Rey, Bastille, MGMT, and so many more...but since I seem to still be in the same spot right now, I will just live vicariously through these images.

There was a mix of fringe, leather, denim, crop tops, florals, and of course rompers (which seemed to be all the rage) this year at the festival. Personally, I'm a big fan of the layers and layers of accessories that everybody seems to pile on, including every type of material and colour you can find. Wide brim hats and wavy hair were a staple, and surprisingly (but also not) Bindis were just as popular!

I'm pretty excited to see what crazy style the rest of festival season brings out...but for now...here is Coachella!

NOTE: I do not own the above pictures.

Oh also, 2 pieces of exciting news to come out of the weekend's festivities; Alexander Wang will be releasing a collection for H&M in November of 2014 (I know...forever away but AMAZING), which will be something to definitely look forward to. Secondly, Lana Del Rey debuted her new song, West Coast, on stage this past Sunday and I'm in love with it...one word: repeat.
