A Sunny Stroll

SPRING HAS SPRUNG ladies and gentlemen...and I love it! I got pretty excited to start playing with lighter layers. I also love adding one pop of colour to my outfit, like a feature piece. In this case it is my pastel faux fur Vera Moda vest (scored it from M for Mendocino a while back). its a great transition piece because of the light fresh colour but will still keep you warm.

I walked all the way down Queen St East, which sadly gave me some blisters. I mean I love Doc Martens, but they have to be the hardest pair of shoes to break in! Christa, back from her modelling adventure in South Africa, and I enjoyed the stroll in the sun on our way to her meeting.

Hope you guys had a beautiful day :D!

Meet the Mini Blogger

Everyone, welcome my little sister...Tiah! This girl is a star/model/actress/dancer waiting for a camera. She is 6 and, as you'll see below, has CRAZY style (definitely got that from our mamma). We put together 3 outfits on and ran outside to shoot in the amazing sunshine...thank you Toronto for the momentary light. She braved the cold and got the shot!

Hope you like it!

Toronto Vintage Show

I am a huge fan of shopping vintage. There's always a thrill in finding pieces that are unique and different. The Toronto Vintage Show was held on Sunday at the Metro Convention Centre. There were vendors there selling special items from any decade, including some great designer pieces and furs.

I jumped the gun on this whole "spring" thing and decided to wear a light sweater and just my floral bomber (its a favourite of mine!)...and needless to say I FROZE, but it was all totally worth it! I also threw on these booties that I found while thrifting with my friend a couple of weeks back. This was the type of find where you have no idea how someone let these go! All topped off with this awesome Eugenia Kim fedora.

I left the show with an awesome printed blazer, from Peaces by Savannah-Rae. These girls had a great set up that consisted of hand selected vintage pieces with a fresh modern style.

Oh hello Tiah!!

This post is in loving memory of Gingy. I will always love you and I cherish having had a the fiercest little kitty on the block. 17 strong years and I will ALWAYS be proud of the beautiful creature she was. Rest in Peace tiger <3!!
